Kisko freezies initially founded in Kingston, Jamaica by the Josephs family.
1968
Kisko Products was the first to introduce SNO CONES to Jamaica in 1968.
1975
Josephs family moved to Canada on December 24, 1975.
1977
1977 The Josephs family started Kisko Products in Agincourt, Ontario in 1977.
1984
1984 Kisko moved from Agincourt to Markham, Ontario in 1984.
1998
1998 The Josephs signed their first license agreement with Tetley in 1998.
2004
2004 Kisko received licensing rights for Shrek from DreamWorks Inc. This propelled Kisko into mass merchandiser accounts and forged the way for many future license agreements (I.E. Crush, Dr Pepper, Popsicle, Hires Root Beer, Mott’s, Welch’s and more).
2005 In October 2005, Kisko acquired the iconic national brand Mr. Freeze. being their biggest competitor, this acquisition allowed Kisko to become the largest freeze pop manufacturer in Canada.
